During our layout meeting yesterday, we realized that all of us had followed a number of different layouts and we decided to freeze a couple of templates that we would all try to fit our work into.
I changed some of my layouts to fit these, and quite like the white space created. I removed the full bleed page to allow more space in previous pages.
With regards to image captions, I like the idea of separating the captions from the body text with a graphic of a line, but since my body text is composed of caption-explanations, I dont know how readable it would be if the explanations were reduced to the font size of captions..
