Objects, Materials and Resources found at the Nomadic Community Garden, Allen Greens, and Identified Site
Ideas and aesthetics expressed though objects and art created from mainly found objects:
- Packaging from food and drinks brought by visitors and artists, bottle caps, coffee cups, beer cans
- Plants, dried foliage, logs, organic gardening waste
- fences, tyres, wires, coils, metal plates, trash cans (holding up tables)
- Wood slats and old furniture
- Beer cans, spray cans
- Goodwill objects
Elements creating the environment
- Regular sound of Overground
- People walking, cycling, skateboarding, sunbathing, swinging
- Music from nomadic gardens
- Relaxed vibe, as compared to fast paced tube lines
- Feeling of community, yet outsiders visit like tourists
- Street art as backdrop
- Innovative use of waste and found material
- Freedom – non regulated public space
- Element of Surprise – each time – meet different people, see different art and objects, plants, flowers and events – keep changing
- Bright colours

- Interactive stimulus for engagement

- preferred methods of disposal
- Ask: what kinds of paint used? Brands, Great art store: how is stuff disposed?
- Any eyes/nose/throat irritation from paint?
- Suppliers of materials-do they collaborate with each other?
- Do they socialise with other artists in the space?
Great Art store:
- Green earth initiative
- How is it disposed?
- How much material do they receive?
- Where is the facility? Can i visit?
- Collaborative disposal?
